Yet more conspiracy theories about Mitch McConnell!

I worked at the University of Kentucky Hospital when I was in grad school, as a ward clerk. Fun enough job, but it was also a nowhere job. My wife worked there at the same time, as a nursing assistant, while she was in nursing school. If there’s anything I can tell you about hospitals, it’s that they have hundreds of employees: they are not all doctors and nurses, but pharmacy technicians, X-Ray techs, respiratory therapists, phlebotomists, housekeepers, cooks, dining room personnel, admissions employees, lab techs, and probably a dozen others which don’t come to mind at the moment.

And one other thing I can tell you about hospitals: all of those people gossip! If a doctor is f(ornicating) a nurse, it doesn’t stay a secret. If a ward clerk is having an affair with a nursing assistant, it isn’t long before knowledge of that spreads. If a pharmacy tech is homosexual but still closeted, it becomes common knowledge anyway. It’s not just consensual sex between single people; adultery happens!

So, it bugs me that there are so many conspiracy theorists out there pushing the notion that Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has died, but it’s being covered up. And while all of those links are from Twitter — I refuse to call it 𝕏 — our liberal friends on Bluesky are just as bad. Continue reading →

District Attorney Larry Krasner said, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer,

his defense work doesn’t make him soft on crime, but rather someone who can differentiate between redeemable defendants and hardened criminals.

So, I wonder whether Mr Krasner will see this 15-year-old suspect as a “redeemable defendant” or an already “hardened criminal”?

Even The Philadelphia Inquirer has questions about defending Larry Krasner At what point does the newspaper give up on a criminal-loving and police-hating prosecutor?

We have frequently noted The Philadelphia Inquirer’s seemingly unqualified support for the city’s George Soros-sponsored — $1.7 million in 2017 and $1.2 million in 2021 — criminal-loving, police-hating District Attorney, Larry Krasner, but even the Inky has been unable to avoid covering the news about Mr Krasner’s problems.

The newspaper said of Mr Krasner, in 2017:

Krasner says his defense work doesn’t make him soft on crime, but rather someone who can differentiate between redeemable defendants and hardened criminals.

Yet the District Attorney was upset that two police officers, in two separate cases, received lower sentences, even though it was conceded that they posed no future threats. Apparently Mr Krasner doesn’t see police officers as “redeemable defendants.”

This is what happens when the George Soros-sponsored, criminal-loving and police-hating “progressive” prosecutors get elected

On Thursday morning, the Editorial Board of The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote:

This board has long supported (District Attorney Larry) Krasner’s efforts to examine claims of wrongful convictions. But the board does not support cutting corners or lying to the court.

There is an assumption behind that short paragraph, an assumption that there are wrongful convictions. And while the Board do not support “cutting corners or lying to the court,” that very same Editorial Board headlined, on July 2nd, “Krasner isn’t perfect. The Pa. Supreme Court’s ruling on his exoneration push is worse. Ordering the state’s top prosecutor to oversee conviction reviews by Philadelphia’s district attorney is an unprecedented remedy that may create more problems than it solves.” What are we to conclude other than the Board is less concerned with not “cutting corners or lying to the court” than they are with freeing more convicted criminals?

It’s not as though some of the previously convicted murderers that Mr Krasner got freed didn’t go on to kill other people. Continue reading →

Democrats playing stupid games

Adam Kinzinger’s Twitter biography says he is “Dad. Husband. Former GOP congressman. Voted to impeach Trump. Now fighting for our democracy. Lt. Col. @AirNatlGuard (ret). Founder @thecountryfirst.”

Mr Kinzinger is very adamant about enforcing our laws:

Kinzinger was one of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for incitement of insurrection in his second impeachment. He also voted to create, and was subsequently appointed to serve on, the select committee to investigate the 2021 United States Capitol attack.

On 2022, during the January 6th panel, Kinzinger criticized 5 Republican lawmakers including Matt Gaetz and Scott Perry, saying: “The only reason I know to ask for a pardon is because you think you’ve committed a crime.”

On January 20, 2025, President Joe Biden announced a preemptive pardon for the January 6th Committee members including Kinzinger from potential future prosecution by the incoming Trump administration.

Mr Kinzinger accepted the pardon, which, by his own words, means he thinks he committed a crime. Continue reading →

Our nation’s third oldest, continuously-published daily newspaper, the winner of twenty Pultizer Prizes and the newspaper of record for the entire metropolitan area, has been doing what it can do defend the George Soros-sponsored, criminal-loving and police-hating District Attorney, Larry Krasner, but things have been falling apart for Mr Krasner so badly that even the Inky has to report on what has been happening.

One of DA Larry Krasner’s top advisers once sent $100 to a man in prison for murder who’s now appealing his conviction. It’s under investigation.

Yes, political party is important! RINOs are far preferable to Democrats claiming to be 'moderate'.

In 2014, then Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, the daughter of Jerry Lundergan, a former Kentucky Democratic chairman and state representative, was the Democratic nominee facing Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in his re-election campaign. About the only silver lining Mrs Grimes could see in that is that she did better against the then-Senate Minority Leader than the repugnant Amy McGrath Henderson did six years later.

Naturally, the Commonwealth’s two largest newspapers, The (Louisville) Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald-Leader endorsed Mrs Grimes, but what my best friend used to call the Herald-Liberal always endorses Democrats.

Humorously, Mrs Grimes was feted at a fundraiser by Harvey Wallbanger Weinstein, though that was before his scumbag reputation was widely known. Continue reading →

Yes, we disagree with Democrats, but I never thought that they could be this stupid

It has been said that presidential candidates like to pick vice presidential running mates who will not overshadow them, and such is frequently done by picking running mates who are dumber than them. Yes, I know: I have used that opening line before, and yes, I used it in reference to Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota, and his pardon of Tou Lue Vang, a previously convicted child rapist, to try to save him from being deported to Laos. Mr Vang had serially raped a Hmong girl between her ages of ten and twelve years, something he admitted to detectives:

When a detective interviewed Mr. Vang, he acknowledged having had sexual contact with the girl and called it a “minor thing,” according to a criminal complaint. Mr. Vang blamed cultural norms in Thailand, according to the complaint.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio wasn’t going to put up with that s(tuff), revoked Mr Vang’s legal status, and he was quickly shipped back to Laos.

You would think that even a vice presidential candidate selected because he was dumber than Kamala Harris Emhoff would figure, at that point, OK, he’s gone, there’s nothing more we can do about it. Remember: Mr Vang was a convicted child rapist! Continue reading →

You in a heap o’ trouble, girl! You can't cure stupid, but the internet can make you even dumber

There’s a popular internet meme that we used to think a lack of information made people stupid, but nope, it wasn’t that!

Public school teachers are supposed to be educated, with at least a baccalaureate degree, and frequently an expectation that you must work on your master’s. From the case of Mary Kay Letourneau in the 1990s until now, teachers are taught about and warned against sexual contact, any sexual contact, including just flirting, with students. Most states have laws which hold teachers accountable for sexual contact with students, even those who have reached the age of sexual consent, due to the positions of authority teachers are presumed to hold over students. Yet we keep getting the stories over and over and over again:
