Then factor in the fact that black women have abortions at five times the rate of white women.

The prime impetus for marriage has always been, for men, access to pussy on an easy and consistent basis. Then, with the Sexual Revolution — a friend of mine once said that the Sexual Revolution is over, and the men won — girls started giving away pussy with far less commitment required, and unsurprisingly commitment waned. With less commitment, but biology not being subject to commitment, it is wholly unsurprising that unmarried pregnancies occurred.

The 1970s feminist leadership cheered increased contraception alternatives, especially what Archie Bunker once referred to as the birth patrol pill, freeing women to enjoy sex without consequences, but they failed to understand a simple fact: while the ‘feminist leadership’ were all intelligent, educated, dedicated, and disciplined, not all women were. The ‘feminist leadership’ didn’t get knocked up unless they wanted to or planned to, but the 16- and 17- and 19-year-old girls weren’t quite as disciplined.

And thus, the need for prenatal infanticide! After all, contraception could fail, albeit frequently failing due to lack of use, and it wasn’t the women’s fault if they got knocked up, because contraception existed, even if it wasn’t used.

Finally, there was welfare. Because it was just wrong to hold brave and bold and sexual women responsible for getting pregnant outside of wedlock, the government had to support them and their wholly innocent children.

Greatly reduced responsibility demands placed on men, along with government assuming responsibility for those innocent children: could there have been any doubt at all that the bastardy rate would skyrocket?
