If this isn’t #grooming, then what is it?

As we have previously noted, the Central Bucks School Board required teachers, administrators and staff to use students’ proper names, references and pronouns as recorded in school records, unless the individual student’s parents approved a change, and is removing materials with sexualized content from school libraries. Of course, the homosexual lobby are just spittle-flecked with rage, claiming that this discriminates against homosexual, bisexual, and ‘transgender’ students, as though normalizing and promoting homosexuality and ‘transgenderism’ is some sort of civil right, and not an attempt at grooming.

So now, the Biden Administration is getting into the act, wanting to advance grooming of abnormal sexual orientations. From The Washington Post:

The federal government is investigating a Texas school district over its alleged removal of books featuring LGBTQ characters

The federal government has opened an investigation into a Texas school district over its alleged removal of books featuring LGBTQ characters — marking the first test of a new legal argument that failing to represent students in school books can constitute discrimination.

The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights is investigating the Granbury Independent School District, department spokesman Jim Bradshaw said this month. The probe is based on a complaint of discrimination lodged last summer by the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, said ACLU attorney Chloe Kempf.

If the government finds in the ACLU’s favor, the determination could have implications for schools nationwide, experts said, forcing libraries to stock more books about LGBTQ individuals and requiring administrators, amid a rising tide of book challenges and bans, to develop procedures ensuring student access to books that some Americans, especially right-leaning parents, deem unacceptable. The books most often targeted explore sometimes-challenging themes of sexual and racial identity.

Parents, of course, have an absolute right to determine what their children see and read, and forcing a school library to carry materials with “sometimes-challenging themes of sexual and racial identity” can violate those parents’ rights, especially when we remember that compulsory education laws create an effectively captive audience in the public schools. That immature students will be tempted toward materials to which their parents do not want them to see is pretty much a given.

The Texas ACLU’s complaint alleges that Granbury school officials directed the removal of all LGBTQ books from school libraries, in part citing remarks by Superintendent Jeremy Glenn in a January 2022 closed meeting. As reported in an article published jointly by the Texas Tribune, NBC News and ProPublica, Glenn said his staff would be “pulling out … the transgender, LGBTQ, and the sex — sexuality — in books.” The district later removed from library shelves at least 130 books, three-quarters of which featured LGBTQ characters or themes, according to the article.

So, if three-quarters of the books removed from the library contained homosexual characters or themes, wouldn’t that mean that one-quarter of the books removed for “the sex — sexuality — in books” depicted only sexually normal characters[1]The Centers for Disease Control conducted the National Health Institute Survey in 2013, when Barack Hussein Obama was in office, and found that only 1.6% of the population are homosexual, with … Continue reading or themes? Why, it’s almost as though the Granbury school district is attempting to not push sexual activity of any kind!

“The book removals and also the comments create this pervasively hostile environment,” attorney Kempf said. “Both send a message to the entire community that LGBTQ identities are inherently obscene, worthy of stigmatization — and the book removals uniquely deprive LGBTQ students of the opportunity to read books that reflect their own experiences.”

No, the removals deprive the students of the opportunity to read those books from the school library. There is nothing which prevents them from obtaining them from non-captive-audience situations, such as regular libraries, independent bookstores, online sellers or the internet.

Of course, if these materials “reflect their own experiences,” then these students do not need to read about their own experiences to learn whatever it is they will learn from them; these are things they already know. Rather, this is an attempt to normalize experiences which are not normal.

The left are aghast, appalled, and apoplectic that some conservatives have referred to them as groomers, but in the attempt to normalize and make acceptable extremely minority behavior, what word other than grooming would you use?

There is considerably more at the original, most of which deals with whom are for and against these actions.

1 The Centers for Disease Control conducted the National Health Institute Survey in 2013, when Barack Hussein Obama was in office, and found that only 1.6% of the population are homosexual, with another 0.7% bisexual, and another 1.1% either stating that they were ‘something else’ or declining to respond. In either case, heterosexuals are about 96.7% of the population. With numbers like that, I believe referring to heterosexuality as being normal is appropriate.
