Former Oregon principal sentenced to prison for possessing child sex abuse material

Jeremy Peter Williams, 55, of Longview was sentenced after investigators said they received a tip on social media that led to a search of his electronic devices. They found he was sharing sexually explicit pictures of minors through online platforms.
At the time of his arrest in September, Williams was already on paid leave because of comments he made about late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Williams had been the principal at Rainier Junior-Senior High School since 2022.

Celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, of anybody, certainly qualifies Mr Williams as a pervert in our book, so it’s no surprise that he’s a child porn perv as well.
OK, Mr Williams is apparently as dumb as a box of rocks. Surely, surely! someone as educated as high school principals must be these days ought to have known the saying really stupid or malicious stuff on social media can get you relieved of your position, even if what you have said is not criminal. And even more surely, someone as educated as high school principals must be these days ought to have known that possession of, or having the slightest contact with, child pornography can result in felony convictions and spending years in the state penitentiary. Mr Williams was sentenced to 49 months in prison, followed by three years of probation, and being put on the sex offender registry. He pleaded guilty, which would normally mean that he faced a far more stringent sentence if he went to trial and was convicted.
As Jethro Gobbs once said, “Believe me, son, you will not do well in prison.” I suspect that the next five years will be . . . unpleasant . . . for this fat dude.
For years, I have been telling people that the amount of sexual perversion and predation among public school teachers would make the so-called Catholic Church scandals look like a little hiccup. Parents must remove their children from the public school system, more accurately described as the government school system, unless they don’t care abut having their children indoctriated, propagandized and perverted.
