That thing that never happens has happened again That internet thingy Al Gore invented, the thing that was supposed to make us all smarter? It sure looks like it has made people more stupid!

A homosexual activist named Randon Sprinkle? I just had to check, but as far as I could find, it is his real name.

Ex Democratic staffer sentenced to 10 years for distribution of child sexual abuse material

Gwyndolyn Miles, Richmond Times-Dispatch | Thursday, September 3, 2026

RICHMOND — The former democratic political strategist charged with child sex crimes has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, according to the Department of Justice.

Randon Alexander Sprinkle, 31, of Richmond, was convicted on charges of distribution of child sexual abuse material. The DOJ reported that Sprinkle pled guilty on April 23.

Court documents say that on May 22, 2025, Sprinkle used a dating app called “Jack’d” to contact another user.

The user Sprinkle spoke with was an undercover agent with the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, posing as the father of a nine-year-old boy.

According to the FBI agent, Sprinkle immediately invited the user to communicate with him through the Telegram app. Court documents say that on this app, Sprinkle alluded to sexual interest in minors and sent a video depicting two adults sexually abusing a child.

Further down:

Prior to his arrest, Sprinkle worked on the campaigns of several Richmond council members and on the campaign of state Sen. Jennifer Boysko, D-Fairfax. He also worked as a regional political director for Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan’s 2020 campaign for governor. Sprinkle was also a finance director for the Democratic Party of Virginia, according to the Virginia Public Access Project.

One would think that the Virginia Democratic Party would do some background checks on “finance directors,” people who might actually be handling money, but if such was done, I suppose they never found anything.

Jack’d — which I will not link here — describes itself as the “premier social app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people, with over 15 million members worldwide.” I’m not certain why someone who lived in Richmond, which had an estimated population of 237,257, would need to use a hook up app to find homosexual sex partners; are there no homosexual bars in the state capital? But, then again, the people you meet in a homosexual bar are (supposedly) all going to be adults, and it seems that Mr Sprinkle was looking for kids.

This wasn’t a one-time thing. After seizing two laptops and a cell phone from Mr Sprinkle, the FBI found 43 files showing child sexual abuse on his phone, plus two more on a laptop; at least some of the files depicted the abuse of toddler-aged children.

I suppose that Mr Sprinkle took advantage of a plea bargain to plead guilty and receive a ten-year sentence; he could have been locked up for twenty years. If the evidence was what the report stated, the prosecution should not have offered anything less than the maximum; locking him up in a federal max prison for twenty years might be sufficient punishment, but even a full twenty would see him released at age 51.

We are not supposed to take the notion that homosexuality leads to a greater probability of being interested in sex with minors, and there have been plenty of cases reported on this site of the heterosexual abuse of minors, but I will admit it: I do think that having one perversion makes having a second perversion more probable.

And that internet thingy that Al Gore invented, the thing that was supposed to make us all smarter? It sure looks like it has made people more stupid! You can’t not know that law enforcement has been scouring the internet, looking for pedophiles, and it sure looks like the internet has been one of the most successful ways of catching them.

Mr Sprinkle is a queer and a pedophile, and he is also just plain stupid.
