The Patriot Front March for Life The left wax apoplectic!

My Twitter feed was filled with images of the Patriot Front marching at Fridays March for Life in Washington, DC. Much of it was condemnatory, and a lot of conservatives were repeating the meme that these were “Feds,” by which they meant federal law enforcement officers, rather than real civilians. I can see, at least in appearance, why people might conclude that. Robert Stacy McCain addressed that issue in “Is the ‘Patriot Front’ a Fed PsyOp?” He cited the very liberal Southern Poverty Law Center, a group which hates all things conservative, normal, and moral, telling us:

Like other hate and extremist groups, the need to recruit and grow their members makes PF a target for antifascist activists who attempt to infiltrate white nationalist groups to expose and disrupt their activities. Since 2018, antifascist activists have infiltrated PF at least five times, which has led to journalist and activist networks obtaining thousands of documents, including internal chat logs, audio and video recordings, and photographs. The laxed operational security measures of PF that are responsible for these infiltrations led to the identification of more than 130 current and former members since 2019.

Would the FBI have tried to infiltrate conservative groups? We have previously noted how the FBI was actually surveilling “radical traditional Catholics,” sourcing their concerns on reports from the SPLC, that same Southern Poverty Law Center, which lists “Radical Traditional Catholic Hate Groups” at a time when the President of the United States was (purportedly) a Catholic, and that FBI Director Christopher Wray lied about the extent of it to Congress. So, it would be a surprise to exactly no one that the FBI would have tried to infiltrate a politically conservative group.

The left really, really hate those conservative groups. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, in September of 2020, “Far-right Proud Boys march through Center City: The alt-right Proud Boys marched through Center City Saturday with nearly 60 participants, many wearing body armor and helmets,” but if you open that article, you will see several photographs of the Proud Boys march in Philly, none of them showing any violence, none of them showing the buildings they burned or the stores they looted, because none of that happened! Not one story concerning the Proud Boys march indicates any violence, any violence at all, by them in Philadelphia. Apparently, the Proud Boys were exercising the constitutional rights to freedom of speech and peaceable assembly. Yeah, that’s radical alright!

The newspaper even rai, in April of 2021, “Had an experience with extremists or conspiracy theories? Tell us about it. Have you experienced extremism in your community, or seen family or friends divided by conspiracy theories? Tell us about it and a reporter may reach out to you.” They even had a questionnaire, asking:

Which extremist groups or conspiracy movements have you had an experience with?

  • QAnon
  • Proud Boys
  • Covid-19 Truthers
  • Other

No mention of Black Lives Matter or any other left wing “extremist groups or conspiracy movements” in that selection, which tells you that the employer of columnists Will Bunch, Helen Ubiñas, and Jenice Armstrong sees leftist groups as perfectly mainstream.

Well, the same was true ab0out the Patriot Front’s participation in the March for Life. There were no riots, no one was assaulted, no weapons were displayed, and no violence occurred. They were exercising the constitutional rights to freedom of speech and peaceable assembly.

Of course, today’s left hate the freedom of speech when it is speech of which they disapprove!

Many on the left complained that the Patriot Front marchers were mostly wearing masks, and asking why they would do that. In September of 2019, Haverford Township, in Delaware County outside of Philadelphia, shut down the Bon Air volunteer first station because one of its members tried to join the “the controversial far-right men’s group the Proud Boys,” and his friends in the fire company refused to dismiss him. People in the United States have lost their jobs for Wrongthink, so it’s understandable that members of the Patriot Front, many of whom are working-class Americans, feel the need to protect their jobs.

There’s a mostly unspoken irony in all of this. The left call the Patriot Front and similar groups “White Supremacists,” but, in marching for an end to prenatal infanticide in the United States, they are marching to save unborn black infants as much as white babies. Black women have abortions at 4½ times the rate of white women, so an effective end to abortion in the US would slowly increase the black percentage of our population.

  1. Oh, the irony of the statement “Of course, today’s left hate the freedom of speech when it is speech of which they disapprove!” We just watched a Twitter and TS meltdown after an Episcopalian Bishop asked, quietly and calmly, that the new administration treat immigrants kindly at a time when so many are fearful. As you would say, GUFFAW.
