That thing that never happens has happened again

The murder of Laken Riley by José Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant released into the US by Customs and Border Patrol during the Biden Administration because the surge in apprehended border crossers had worsened to a point where they did not have enough space at a detention facility to hold him, was a rare, rare event, certainly nothing over which to criticize our 46th President’s compassionate immigration policies. Such criticism was inflamed by the evil reich-wing former President Donald Trump, for political gain, don’t you know.

On February 27, 2025, two children under the age of 14 disclosed to a family member that a person known to them had inappropriately touched them. Valdosta Police Department detectives began to investigate the allegations. Through numerous interviews with the victims, detectives located two more victims.

Detectives determined that over approximately four years, Nery Antonio Gonzalez, 36 years of age, had sexually assaulted four different children, who were under the age of 14, in various locations throughout the Valdosta City limits. Throughout the investigation, detectives worked closely with the Children’s Advocacy Center, as well as the Victim’s Advocates with the District Attorney’s Office of the Southern Judicial Circuit.

On Friday, March 14, 2025, detectives obtained arrest warrants for Gonzalez. After obtaining the arrest warrants, members of the department’s Power Squad and patrol officers located Gonzalez at his residence and took him into custody.

Detectives continued to investigate the accusations against Gonzalez, resulting in numerous additional arrest warrants obtained on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Gonzalez is an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, and he is being held in Lowndes County Jail for the following charges:

5 counts of child molestation-felony;
3 counts of rape-felony;
4 counts of aggravated sexual battery-felony;
4 counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 16-felony;
2 counts of aggravated child molestations-felony; and
3 counts of cruelty to a child in the 1st degree-felony.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.

“There are no words to describe the heartbreak of the trauma that these children faced and will live with for the rest of their lives. I am thankful that two of these victims were brave enough to let someone know, which resulted in the arrest of this predator. This was great teamwork between our agency and our community partners, to ensure these victims do not have to see this monster again.” Said Chief Leslie Manahan.

Mr Gonzalez is, of course, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but if he is found guilty, then we have just more evidence of the harm that President Joe Biden’s refusal to seriously enforce our immigration laws has done to Americans. It is interesting that I never saw any of this in the credentialed media, but was pointed to a notification by yet another conservative blogger. The story cited above comes directly from the Valdosta, Georgia, Police Department’s Facebook page, which I consider sufficient documentation.

If Mr Gonzalez had been apprehended and sent back to Guatemala, there would be four children in Georgia who would not have (allegedly) been raped. If President Biden and Secretary of Fatherland Security Alejandro Mayorkas done their f(ornicating) jobs, Mr Gonzalez would not have been in the United States to rape American kids.

The parents of Mr Gonzales’ (alleged) victims can’t sue former President Biden for his neglect of his duty, because, as special counsel Robert Hur noted, Mr Biden was not mentally sound enough to be tried was an elderly man with a failing memory, but Mr Mayorkas ought to be sued into penury for his neglect of his duty.

This is what the soft-hearted and soft-headed supporters of illegal immigration want to continue to allow, unrestricted admission of people about whom we know little or nothing, of people who were criminals in their home countries, of people who have already broken the law by breaking and entering into our country, of people who neither know nor care anything about civilized behavior. We need good immigrants in the United States, but they have to be fully vetted and demonstrate a strong and responsible character. More, they should all be considered guilty until proven innocent as far as their qualifications to enter the United States; if they can’t prove themselves to be decent people, then they are automatically people we don’t want.
