Thank you, Jill Biden! We owe Dr Biden a debt of gratitude which can never be fully repaid: she helped save this country from having the kook from California in the White House!

Golly gee willikers gee whiz! Vice President Kamala Harris couldn’t have lost to Orange Man Bad, so someone must have sabotaged her!

Our good friends on the left were stunned, shocked, aghast, appalled that Kamala Harris Emhoff lost the 2024 election to then former President Donald Trump, and they keep looking for reasons why it happened. But the one thing that they just can’t bring themselves to consider is the notion that she was simply a rotten candidate.

Rep. Clyburn throws Kamala Harris campaign under the bus, says team failed her

‘She will make a great candidate in the future, whatever she decides to run for,’ Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., said of reports Harris is considering running for office again

By Kristine Parks, Fox News | Friday, April 11, 2025 | 2:12PM EDT

Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., called former Vice President Kamala Harris a “great candidate” who was ill-served by her campaign team, during an interview on Friday.

The Democratic congressman was responding to CNN anchor Kate Bolduan asking about a New York Times report which said that since Harris’ loss in the 2024 election, the former vice president has been mulling over another bid for the White House or entering the 2026 California gubernatorial race.

Clyburn said he wasn’t going to advise Harris on her next steps but praised her as a “tremendous talent” who had been let down by her campaign staff during the presidential race.

Mrs Emhoff, and her running mate Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) were reportedly “shocked” by their defeat, but David Plouffe told us, just three weeks after the election, that the campaign’s own polls never showed them ahead in the race. If Mrs Emhoff and Mr Walz were really shocked, does that mean that the campaign never told the candidates the truth? Yeah, we understand that the campaign would never tell us that they were not doing well, but keeping it from the candidates?

But, I suppose lying to themselves is what the Democrats have done very well. The Democrats and their willing accomplices in the credentialed media kept lying to all of us, apparently including themselves, that President Joe Biden was sharp as a tack, the smartest guy in the room, and completely in charge of everything, when they knew that he was losing his marbles. Jill Biden, apparently loving living in the White House, had to know, had to know! that her husband was simply not up to the job of President, and not up to the rigors of the campaign, yet pushed him to run for re-election. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of Delaware; there was no way she could not have realized that her husband was in serious decline, because that’s something for which she had been trained!

Outstanding Work, Doctor: How Jill Biden’s Lust for Power Saved America

New revelations expose first lady’s crucial efforts to ensure Trump’s return to the White House

by Andrew Stiles | Tuesday, April 8, 2025

Many have suspected that Dr. Jill Biden played a key role in saving the country by facilitating Donald Trump’s long-awaited return to the White House. Many have assumed the former first lady (and acting president of the United States) was possessed of an insatiable lust for power, which drove her to insist that her enfeebled octogenarian husband, Joe Biden, run for reelection. The ill-advised decision nearly destroyed the Democratic Party when Biden’s cognitive impairment became impossible to ignore. It forced the party to rally around Kamala Harris, the most incompetent presidential candidate since Hillary Clinton, all but ensuring that Trump would win a second term and usher in the Golden Age of America.

LOL! “(T)he most incompetent presidential candidate since Hillary Clinton”? Apparently Andrew Stiles doesn’t share Representative Clyburn’s opinion that she was a “gret candidate” and has “tremendous talent.” 🙂

The revelations unearthed in several new books by political journalists — conveniently published after the election — confirm that these suspicions and assumptions were correct.

“[L]et’s be honest, Jill was a thousand percent behind this,” a Biden ally told journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, authors of Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House[1]Hyperlink added by me; this was not included in the cited article, and I do not receive any commission if you buy the book at this link... “So, she was pushing it. The staff was all pushing it. At the end of the day, I don’t think anyone in that inner circle was presenting the president any contrary advice that this thing is not going to be easy or maybe this is not the best thing for the Democratic Party.”

Allen and Parnes note that many of Joe Biden’s longtime aides were also desperate to cling to power, and refused to consider advising the president to retire after a single term. “Nobody walks away from this,” senior adviser Mike Donilon reportedly told a prominent Democrat. “No one walks away from the house, the plane, the helicopter.” This burning desire to retain the perks of the White House, the authors explain, was “doubly true for the first lady.” Dr. Jill had enjoyed them for nearly a decade, and “the trappings of the most elite levels of Washington power had grown on her.” The reporting confirms what presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said about Jill Biden in February 2024: “She likes power. She wants to stay. She wants some sense of revenge.”

There’s more at the original, much of it telling us how Mrs Biden was basically “A wretched, spiteful, straight-razor totin’ woman,” to use Tony Joe Wilson’s lyrics, holding grudges against Nancy Pelosi and Mrs Emhoff.

The Amazon sales blurb for the book tells us that it was the result of real-time interviews with more than 150 insiders, from the Trump, Harris, and Biden inner circles, as well as party leaders and operatives. That’s great, but it leaves us with the obvious point: if this kind of journalism could be done after the election, why couldn’t it have been done before the election?

One of the ways Jill Biden’s and the president’s top aides tried to weather the calls for him to step down, according to Allen and Parnes, was by inflicting “serious reputation damage” on Harris in the weeks following the debate. “They sent electronic messages to people trashing the vice president, saying if you keep pushing on Joe Biden to get out, you’re going to end up with Kamala Harris, and that’s going to be a huge mistake,” Allen told Vanity Fair. Jill didn’t like the VP in part because she “had never gotten over” Harris’s racially charged attack — during the 2020 primary campaign — on Biden’s opposition to federal busing mandates designed to integrate public schools in the 1970s.[2]A personal note here. We lived in New Castle County, Delaware for two years, 2000 – 2002, and saw how the people there had destroyed public education in response to a federal judge ordering … Continue reading Allen and Parnes describe her as “the keeper of the vindictive flame for the family.” Even after the election, she remains “really bitter at Harris,” according to a family friend.

Joe Biden was himself an alumnus of the private and very expensive Archmere Academy, and that was where he sent his children; he certainly didn’t send his kids to the New Castle County public schools! In opposing forced busing, Mr Biden was reflecting what the people of his home county wanted. But, in running in a competitive nomination race in 2019-20, every candidate can expect to be attacked by his rivals, something Dr Biden should have known.

Which raises the obvious question. Dr Biden had to have known that her husband was in serious decline. Yes, she loved the fame and perks of being First Lady, but who was she, as a wife, trying to protect: her husband, or herself?

In the end, good Americans owe Dr Biden a debt of gratitude which can never be fully repaid: she helped save this country from having the kook from California in the White House!

2 A personal note here. We lived in New Castle County, Delaware for two years, 2000 – 2002, and saw how the people there had destroyed public education in response to a federal judge ordering busing to achieve racial integration. Our daughters attended a parochial school, but it wasn’t done due to busing; they had already been parochial school students where we had lived previously. New Castle County had a huge percentage of students in private and parochial schools, to avoid the disaster that was the public school system.
