We already knew that Joe Biden planned to reverse President Trump’s executive order which reversed an Obama Administration federal rule that extended Title IX protections to ‘transgender’ students, allowing them to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to their perceived gender identities rather than their actual sex.
And now, he’s gone even further down the path of ‘transgender’ insanity:

Pennsylvania Health Secretary Rachel (sic) Levine may soon have a new top boss: Joe Biden.
On Tuesday morning, a day before Biden is sworn in as the 46th President of the United States, he appointed Levine, from his native Pennsylvania, as Assistant Secretary for Health. She (sic) would be the first openly transgender person to be confirmed by the Senate and serve in federal office.
“Dr. Rachel (sic) Levine will bring the steady leadership and essential expertise we need to get people through this pandemic — no matter their zip code, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability — and meet the public health needs of our country in this critical moment and beyond,” Biden said in a statement. “She (sic) is a historic and deeply qualified choice to help lead our administration’s health efforts.”
Levine’s friend and colleague Adrian Shanker, executive director of Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center in Allentown, said he was “ecstatic and beaming with pride” upon hearing of Levine’s appointment.

Richard Levine is a male who decided, after marrying a woman, Dr Martha Peaslee,. and siring two children with her, he decided that he was a woman, and ‘transitioned‘ in 2011. He and his wife divorced in 2013.
Now there is no particular reason to have chosen Dr Levine for this position; there are many others just as, if not more, qualified for the position. But Joe Biden selected him as part of his ongoing attempt to normalize ‘transgenderism.’
The cited article is from The Philadelphia Inquirer, and, as Pennsylvania’s (supposed) newspaper of record, it has run many, many articles mentioning Dr Levine, especially since Governor Tom Wolf’s (D-PA) draconian orders to deal with COVID-19. And while the cited article above mentions that Dr Levine is ‘transgendered,’ the vast majority of them uncritically refer to him with the feminine pronouns, and just blithely go along with his delusions concerning what he is.

By the Inquirer’s, and other credentialed media sources, continual references to Dr Levine and people like him as being the sex they claim to be, rather than what they actually are, they provide a (not so) subtle push that the ‘transgendered’ actually are the sex they claim to be. In the year 2525, some anthropologist researching what the 21st century was really like, before the nuclear holocaust which wiped out most of mankind, will stumble upon the grave of Dr Levine, and exhume his body. Taking it for study, he will measure the remains, and conclude, from the hip structure, this individual was male. Fortunately, there will be some DNA left, which the anthropologist will analyze, and again conclude, this individual was male.
Why? Because the anthropologist will be reaching objective conclusions, based on actual, measured data; he will not be swayed by the subjective claims of the long-dead individual, because he will never have heard them.
The left love to yell, “believe the science!” when they think that the science somehow supports their political positions. But the science tells us that someone with XY chromosomes, someone born with a penis and testes is male.
Every bird, every reptile, and every mammal has the innate ability to distinguish between the sexes of its own species. Only human liberals have managed to ‘educate’ this ability out of themselves. But we must fight against the normalization of their stupidity, and resist going along with their language and terminology.

I support the right of everyone to be whoever they wish to be however there is a problem when a person who teaches psychiatry and a children-s doctor has a powerful position where he or she can actually influence a policy whereby children who are unable to understand the meaning of changing their gender are giving a treatment to stop their puberty and are encouraged to be transgender at an age younger than 18.
I listened to a talk given by doctor Rachel Levine in which she compares homosexuality to being transgender, homosexuality was once diagnosed as a mental disturbance and now it is not, and so the goal is to make transgenders normal, so that a person who cuts off their genitalia and takes hormones is seen as a normal human being without mental disturbances.
I am not for labeling people as Crazy but what stops children from being placed on an irreversible track towards becoming infertile and undergoing gentialia mutilation before they are old enough to understand this decision.
Some people criticize cirumcision and that is just removing a small piece of skin , though some claim an important piece of skin, so what will stop people in decision making positions from making it legal for children to undergo surgery and hormone treatments making them a freak, a person who is unable to have children and who has to take hormones for the rest of their lives depended on medical services.

The problem I see in appointing Dr. Rachel Levine is that this person will have the power to influence policy regarding the age a child has to be in order to receive puberty blockers which will make it impossible to reverse the process of not enabling the child to undergo puberty and be able to have children . This decision will be made for a child not able to understand the long term effect of the decision, a minor could undergo major surgery to make it impossible for him or her to have children or to appear to be the gender he or she was born as.
What is not devastating for an adult who has already had children, could be a disaster for a child unable to understand the decision. This has legal consequence for enabling minors to undergo surgery and other procedures at an age when they are not able to grasp the importance of this decision .
I don’t think that children can undergo the surgical procedures in most states; they have to be adults to consent to that. However, the use of puberty blockers, which happened with “Jazz” Jennings, is that by the time the ‘transgendered’ are old enough for surgery, they are still physically prepubescent, and that makes the surgery more problematic.
Yet Mr Jennings had no choice. His parents went along with his childhood delusions, and then proceeded down a path which made any change of heart, for Mr Jennings to decide that he really wanted to be a male, impossible. I agree: what was done to Mr Jennings, what is being done to children all the time now when they declare themselves to be something other than what they are. constitutes child abuse.
I would never make sex change procedures illegal for adults. If someone wants to mutilate himself, it’s not my problem or my business. I would ban the use of taxpayer dollars to pay for such idiocy. And, as I noted here, I will never consent to affirming the delusions of the transgendered by using the assumed names they have chosen or the pronouns they prefer.
